Dr. Richard O’Braitis
Dr. O’Braitis chose to pursue dentistry because it would give him the ability to provide healthcare that would help improve a person’s quality of life. He attended Northwestern University Dental School for his dental degree and quickly dedicated himself to helping his patients rediscover their self-esteem through their smile. When you ask Dr. O’Braitis why he loves dentistry he will tell you that experiencing a patient say, “this smile is who I am,” after creating the smile they deserve is his favorite part. He is well-trained in ‘seeing’ and ‘creating’ a smile that his patients want, all while cultivating a caring and comfortable environment.
An avid volunteer, Dr. O’Braitis and his family regularly volunteer their time at camp Pendleton to help prepare the barracks for returning marines. Annually they lay wreaths for service men and women to thank them for our freedoms and participate in service projects for national and local ‘Operation Help a Hero.’ Dr. O’Braitis also served in the United States Navy as a Navy Dental Officer and a Lieutenant Commander (O-4).
Outside of the office, Dr. O’Braitis can be found spending time with his wife, two sons, whom are in college and high school, and their beloved Labrador, Theo. He likes to live an active lifestyle and enjoys surfing at Doheny beach, scuba diving, and playing lacrosse with his two sons. A fun fact about Dr. O’Braitis is that he is a certified Divemaster through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors!

The greatest dentist I have ever gone to in my whole life. I have had nothing but trouble with my teeth since I was the age 2 1/2 I was born with a across bite and I have had so many root canals I’ve been in and out of Dentist my entire life until I had come to Dr O’Briatis and he was a bit able to do cosmetic dentistry on me and my teeth are absolutely beautiful I get compliments all the time on my mouth my smile and if anybody’s contemplating getting teeth work done he is the best of the best if he moved out of state I would follow him he’s the only one I let work on my mouth
